It can feel like you're having a heart attack!
Why does it feel like I'm having a heart attack?
Your rib cartilage is inflamed. Although the cause is currently unknown, it seems to occur in individuals with poor posture. As you hunch forward you are collapsing your chest and condensing the space between your ribs. Doing this consistently puts pressure and friction on the cartilage in between your ribs. Overtime they can become inflamed. This is when you might feel chest pain. It may feel like you are having a heart attack. If you have been diagnosed with this, see your Chiropractor for an adjustment of your spine and for assistance with improving your posture.
